I've been a long time lurker, but only recently signed up and was almost immediately taken with findo-400's B01 Vulcan limited edition and Old Navitimer Red Arrows limited edition, so got in contact with him.
Findo-400 and I were in touch via email and phone on a regular basis and this further established the relationship
Despite me being a new member, we quickly established a good rapport and agreed the price for both watches and I did a bank transfer.
We kept in touch and findo-400 kept me up to date with what was happening (and also some nice chats about the Navitimer history too), even the extent that when packing the B-01 he'd noticed the battery was failing. I immediately got a call and he explained he'd return it to BUK to have a new battery fitted which would delay things slightly.
I also got updates on when the watch arrived at BUK and when he got it back and when it was posted.
I also received a nice lot of provenance for the Old Navitimer, and was as pleased as I could be doing a transaction when you spend upwards of £5K.
Findo-400 was a real pleasure to deal with, and I'd certainly have no hesitation in buying from, or selling to, him again.
He went the extra mile in terms of communication, providing information and the icing on the cake was getting the battery issue sorted out.
If/when I come to sell via this forum, I will remember how this transaction went and endeavour to replicate the experience for my buyer.
