The Breitling Watch Source Forums

Anyone had experience with these watches? I've been looking at them the past few years and I really like the whole nautical influence of the watch. I will be making a big watch purchase in about a year and this watch is certainly in the running.

Pros/Cons?

Corum make a quality watch, although some of them are a little too 'out there' for my liking. These watches do nothing for me I'm afraid, a little too gimmicky, but they are solid pieces, though not necessarily tremendous value.

Corum always occupy a strange place in the market for me. Almost like they don't quite know what they are about.

The Admiral's Cup pieces are the most "normal" looking things they make, and living down on the coast, but be honest but I like the nautical themes. The problem is they are not exceptionally interesting in terms of movement (ETA), apart from the Tides models that predict the tide patterns. Apparently that movement, while being ETA based has a tides module that was made especially for Corum by Dubois Depraz.

I like it but maybe it's a little overpriced.
