I've tried to take some pics of my watch but they look like ass. I am using good light. I have my camera on the highest resolutions (3648x2736 10mpx) when I view it through photoshop, or any other pc image software it looks grainy as hell and gets worse when I zoom in. Is there any advise out there? Maybe an old thread with some info? ![]() BTW I have a Cannon Powershot SD790 IS 10mpx |

Just go back to basics mate. Make sure your Macro mode is on and that the camera is still, ideally on a stand or hard surface. (if you have that option on your camera) when doing close ups of the watch face. I know this will sound stupid but have a good read through your manual. I was amazed what my camera can actually do after reading it and it will also outline how to set up the camera. All the best mate and good luck. Lets see some pics once you have had a play. ![]() |

I was going to tell you to make sure and turn the digital zoom off. Digi zoom is one sure way to get crappy shots. |
