My wife has a Cockpit Lady, and SOH38 and an Oris Artelier Skeleton.

She also borrows a number of my older pieces which are small enough for her to be comfortable with.

I buy her watches too. She likes jewelry, but only had a few watches when we were married over 20 years ago. Over time I have found that buying the occasional watch, even ones that are not super expensive, keeps her interested in my collection! Plus she has worn one or two of mine that are smaller, just like Roff's wife.

Certainly have. I just talk to her about it, ask her opinion on a piece I like and generally communicate my enthusiasm. Far better for me than to one day surprise her with x amount of new watches with the bill to follow :D Pictures work...

Can't say she gets it but she can see the appeal and as I'm now going to get her a new piece (Omega and Tag are on the list for now) it keeps things harmonious

Good luck!

Buying her a Breitling is a good way, but will not always work... keep her "out of the loop" if she is not interested, that seems to work best.
I have stopped discussing watches with my wife as she finds it boring, a Gucci Signoria and a Colt Oceane has not changed her at all. Of course she likes the watches, but the "passion" for them is not there...

And besides, BS satisfies all my needs to discuss watches.

My Fiance and I are planning on getting matching Rolex Datejusts for our wedding gifts to each other... problem is the darn ladies one costs just as much as the mens one. Dealer pricing on Rolex is very good right now. With the cost of the wedding, spending another $10K on watches is going to be hard to justify though. But she is on board!

My fiance is really great with the watches though.. I just show her one and she's like "I love it! You should get that one." Sometimes she gets into helping me justify spending the money.
