Is it ok to get water on leather straps? Wouldn't they start to wrinkle and stuff?

Thanks,

You need to keep them dry. :)

Think of your leather strap just as you would think of a pair of leather shoes or leather gloves. They respond more or less the same. Some light rain once or twice is fine as long as you dry them afterwards, but swimming with them would ruin them.

Just use an aftermarket one made of carbon or whatever. Something relatively inexpensive that you can beat up and replace if needed.
