It is alot of coin but I would say still very reasonable for what you get in the watch. Its 18k Rose Gold which alone brings the price to mid 10-thousands. It limited quantity only increases the value. I don't think Breitling makes a Rose Gold model cheaper.

Hmmm for that much coin I would rather purchase a Rolex Daytona.

:yeahthat - if you wanted to put a rose gold bracelet on that watch it would cost you that much from Breitling!! - that's a lot of watch for the money

Thats a good watch.

I have a redgold version R2432212/B852 (Black dial, kroko strap) on stock at the moment, and its limited to 500pcs.
Just to compare pricing, mine is at € 13.150,- retail (tax included, without discounts)

Considering the weak dollar, I would go for that. 98 is a very good number (they do affect resale value...)

That's an interesting point Thomas - what are the best numbers to go for? My assumption would be that the very low ones (single digits) are the best, followed by the very high ones (last 10) and then significant numbers - 100 for example.

Is that your perspective?

Yes.

And if You want to sell it to Asia, it should have no 4 (meaning death)

No 4's, and lots of 8's are always good for asia! 28 is a good one too.

+1

If only the Daytona were BIGGER. I'm still anxious to see the new Yachtmaster, the first Rolex over 40mm.

I would rather get one of the used solid gold Breitlings on ebay for $15K! No Daytona for me.. its a nice looking watch, but having worn one.. i find it small.

If the Daytona was a couple of MM larger and had a date display it would certinely justify its price, the way it is now is just not for me.

Whats up with having the day of the week but not date? I am much more lickely to forget the date than what day it is

The Daytona doesn't have day or date. Yachtmaster, Submariner, Explorer, and GMT have the day only. Day and date are found on the Oyster Perpetual Day-Date.
