That’s really interesting – I saw a photo today and had the same question. At first I thought it was an obscure Swiss/German mechanical based on an ETA 7750. It’s cool he wears a watch many people can afford. Politically astute too – the economy is rooted, and it wouldn’t go down well to be seen in anything too fancy. Still, the dude’s the President for Christ sake - it wouldn’t be unreasonable for him to have a nice mechanical watch. I reckon President Obama would dig an IWC Cousteou Aquatimer…if those secret service types weren’t so stingy! |
