I just received the most expensive watch, that I have ever bought in my store. A Glashütte Original Panotourbillon XL. Its my first Tourbillon ever, and the pricetag shows Euro 95.000,-!!!
But its a fantastic watch.

You can look it up under the Glashütte homepage
http://www.glashuette-original.com/Inde ... fault.aspx
then choose Collection, Pano, Pano XL and Automatic Panotourbillon XL (I hope, the word "Automatic" will disappear in the next days...)

I might post some pictures later, when the feeling in my stomach gets better...

:yeahthat

Nice looking watch (though I'd still rather have the Bentley if I was in the market for a Tourbillon), but that is a serious amount of money. I can understand the slightly odd feeling!

So was it 95,000 EUR or 9500 EUR?

Here in the midwest, you can buy a nice home for 95,000 EUR ($133,950 USD)!

Hmmmm, here in the south of "rip-off-Britain" you can't even buy a one room, studio apartment for 95,000 EUR (£66,500 GBP)!! A very modest apartment near me would start at around £155,000 GBP (approx $310,000).... and I don't live anywhere near London!!

A mate of mine right on the outskirts of London paid £283,000 GBP ($566,000) for a 2 bed flat with one bathroom recently. So really, Alien's tourbillon is a BARGAIN!!!!! I'll have a couple!

I heard the real estate in Britain is expensive. I couldn't imagine buying an apartment for that, much less half a million USD for a two bedroom flat!

For the cost of the Glashutte watch, you could buy this in my area: http://homes.realtor.com/search/listing ... =80#Detail

As an example, here's what you get here for $300,000 USD: http://homes.realtor.com/search/listing ... =69#Detail

For $500,000 USD: http://homes.realtor.com/search/listing ... =69#Detail

I could wear the price of a home on my wrist!

Good value.... NOT!!!!!!

For something a bit nicer, you need to spend around £1.5m ($3,000,000). This one is down the road from me. (And no, mine isn't this size!)

I moved from SE England to Canada 10 years ago and now own about 90 acres. I am often asked how much my home / land would sell for in England and have to reply that you just couldn't buy it. Yes prices are a lot cheaper here, but I grew up in an entire village that was only about 15 acres - people have a hard time comprehending that!!

Oh and for 95,000 Euros here's what I could find in my area (called Tiny Township believe it or not) - http://www.mls.ca/PropertyDetails.aspx? ... ID=6131368.

You'ld get a little change, and the price is higher than it should be because it's on the lake.

Best of luck selling the timepiece FAST!

It's very beautiful, but I'll have to second mortgage my home to swing one!

Is it a limited edition by chance?

Damn its amazing how expensive and how cheap property can be! 90 Acres!??!? Geez... I doubt there is even 90 acres out here to buy! Property's not ridiculous here.. my house is worth about $550,000 and its 2285 sq feet, on a fairly small peice of land. Regular lot with front and backyard kind of deal.
