I must say they are a generous lot at BUSA.
I sent an email to BUSA a while ago with all my serial numbers and I received a hat and pen in the mail.
The next week they sent me a Breitling black fleecy sweater (very warm).
Totally unexpected, last night they sent me TWO yellow penknives in wonderful leather holsters (with that great leather smell).

Mmmmmm...

How about we all PM the mods with our serial numbers and see what they send  Imagine their faces if someone sent in a watch collection of around 200 lings :lingsrock:

HeadOffice,

Might I ask why you sent the initial email? Was is to solicit the goodies or for another reason?

I only ask because, as mentioned in a prior thread, I live in the US (a prerequisite for goodies) and last year I bought 3 Brand new Breitlings from my AD and I got a very small knife and one hat. I listen to others who seem to get "loaded up" from BUSA (on a very regular basis)and was wondering why some seem to get the real good items and some of us do not.

Thanks,

Scott

This I like!!! Although it would lilely backfire with BUSA wanting to fly the display and their "greatest customer" to Basel or something. Then again, might be worth a try?

I contacted them to make sure they had received all paperwork for my yellow Emergency.
Wanted to ensure everything was above board.
In the email I mentioned I had other Breitlings and was asked their serial numbers.
They probably thought I'd bought all new from them and they'd lost the paperwork or something.

I sent them details on the three they should have the details for (which they did).
I also mentioned the other ones I owned but obtained from forum sources.

The swag arrived I guess just as a thank you and it was also close to Christmas.
Not sure about the knives yesterday - I'm hoping they're trying to get everyone buying (economy and all that stuff).

Either way - I'm convinced.
If there's a 24hr model (Le Mans or large Cosmonaute) coming out of Basel I'll have to move on it.

Speaking or more Breitlings - here's one from a forum which should be in my hands in a few days or so (all going according to plan)...

In HeadOffice's attached photo of the Emergency and storage/display case, what is the black box in the upper right hand of the photo. Appears to be a small electronic device with a small speaker?

It's a small receiver used to test the emergency transponder.
Nice to make sure it all works before I embark on my round the world watch buying trip...

Can you guys stop posting about your free gifts please as it's not fair on us Brits! Although having said that BUK did send me a baseball cap and a book (with a little prompting)!

True - but it's not bad for a case that gets opened, watch removed, closed and put away in the back of a closet...

By the way, I was lucky enough to successfully snag the Black Emergency with UTC (to keep the yellow one company). Funds have been sent and it should be here in the next few days. Then, out comes the camera and the whole collection will be shot...

Not only for you. In Austria you end up gettin' nothing. No cap, no book, nada. Not even a descent discount. :?
