I occasionally buy WatchTime magazine and I noticed something over a few issues and wondered what you all thought about it. In pictures of the head honchos at the various different watch makers, the CEO's and such are often sporting a watch on each arm. Is this a fashion statement that I am not aware? Does anyone here wear one on each arm? I just found it a little strange and frequent in the pictures. Scott |

Nobody I know does it, but I've heard of it. Didn't Diego Maradona used to sport matching Rolexes on each arm? |

I think you are referring to Mr Hayek Jr, right? I think he wears one of the first Swatches ever made on his right arm, and an Omega on his left. Maybe a sign of what brands he favors in his empire...? |

An AD I went to in St. Thomas had one guy wearing a Superocean on one wrist and an Omega Deville on the other. I thought that was really odd and he was pretty pushy. |

for advertising. Likewise any celeb representing the manufacture might. Gen Norman Schwartzkauf(?) USA during the Gulf war wore two watches, one on each wrist for local time and Washington DC time. |

Hayek Sr. wears at lesat two on each arm, so I assume Jr. got it from him! Here is an interview (with picture) of him...read the very last question for his answer about multiple watches...guess when you are CEO of the Swatch Group and have so many brands, you have to wear at least one from each! Wish I had that problem... http://www.thepurists.net/Patrons/Members/AlbertoS/Breguet/Hayek/Hayek.htm |
