My watch store recommended the Underwood-London brand for my Super Avenger. |

A quick google search and I noted that they look very nice and cost more than a lot of Breitling watches do. It would take a special collection of watches to justify the winder to me. |

I believe that aleister uses Underwood. The concept of having a 'recommended' winder for a particular watch is a little odd - they're all essentially doing the same thing. There are a number of different topics on here on winders that probably arm you with everything you need to know to find one that's right for you - just use the forum search function. |

Yes, I use Underwood winders. I have the module version and am able to stack together as many as I need. I am perfectly happy with mine - it is reliable (when tested the watch is still spot on even after several weeks only on the winder), very quiet (I can have them at the bedside drawer if I'd like) and runs for more than a year on a single pack of AA batteries. There is of course also the option to run them on regular power but as I have moved to Japan my power plugs won't fit so the batteries are running. I have only positive words to say about them. Sure, they are not the cheapest winders available, but not anywhere near as expensive as suggested. I pay €400 for mine, and I won't get any Breitling at all for that money. Please just let me know if there are more questions I can answer. |
