Post subject:  Has anyone ever seen an analogue watch with a date aperture

So what I am talking about is the inside rim where Rolex chooses to ingrave Rolex over and over in some models.

I just cannot find any watches that have this, probably because I don't know the technical term for this area.

To me, adding a date aperture in the rim would make sense stylistically and function wise. Because the aperture will not break up the dial symetry and when I check the date I'm sitting at my desk 9/10 and looking at this rim anyways.

So, has anyone seen this, what is this rim called and what problems do you foresee with this complication?

Hmmmmm, it looks like this word for word copy and paste was answered already..... and the OP in that case said thanks for the reply.

So, you're either the same person and you managed to "forget" you were given the answer a mere 10 hours ago, or you've done a copy and paste from someone else's post for absolutely no discernible reason at all. Well done. :roll:
