I went into an AD this spring to have a look at their selection, having never seen an H. Moser in person and was blown away by the character of the watches. Among them was this Venturer Small Seconds XL.

The 43mm case combined with the domed crystal makes it one of the largest in my collection, but the combination of the blue fumé dial, blackened hands and lack of indices is exactly what come to mind when I think of Moser.

I’ve really been enjoying this watch and it wears surprisingly well given the size. It’s quickly become one of my go to pieces for daily wear.
