Anyone else watch this show? Les Stroud is the host and Im almost positive we could add him to the Breitling Ambassador list, but I cant figure out the exact watch. It looks like an emergency (which would make sense) but it seems to have only 1 digital readout and I cant really see the emergency crown. Does Breitling make a model with only 1 readout. It is positioned on the bottom. It has a yellow dial. Maybe its not a B. Anyone?

I've caught it a couple of times.....It's a show similar to Man vs. Wild with host Bear Grylls, who is also a Breitling guy!

A lot of people say that the Survivorman guy is much more authentic than Bear.. but Bear is more entertaining.... I've only see each one maybe in parts from Youtube snippets, but Bear is certainly more crazy.

I dont think Les wears a B... i remember reading about what he does wear, but I dont remember.

I can't believe you guys get Bear Grylls' shows over there too! I thought he was still a peculiarly British thing! He's got a show over here (wasn't called Man vs Wild though) and he's always entertaining when he's chewing the heads off snakes and stuff! Guess you learn all sorts in the special forces....

Yeah he's a Breitling Emergency man. Good lad!

Man vs. Wild is the same show as in the UK - just renamed for the North American audience.

Les Stroud (a good Canadian boy by the way) doesn't have the special forces background, but he is much more authentic with the show - no camera crew (and no rumours that he actually stays in a fancy hotel in between shooting as has been suggested with Bear).

I don't recall what Les wears, but I don't believe that it's a Breitling either.

On the Man vs. Wild website, the front page shows Bear wearing what appears to be an Emergency.

Not like he ever uses it......Rumor has it while he was "roughing it" he was actually staying in hotels!

I still enjoy the show. He would make it longer in the wild than I would. Especially after what he's been through while he was in special ops!

Just saw a commercial for Surviorman "behind the scenes" this coming wed. on the science channel here in the states. It is going to show just how much preparation they go through for an episode.

My favorite crew on Deadliest Catch has to be the Northwestern. Sig is a great Captain!

I watch Lobster Wars on the Discovery Channel. Those guys are brutal cutting each others traps! I couldn't do it. I would eat all the profit. I love lobster!

I haven't noticed any of those guys wearing the "Flying B" watches!
