Hello all! The subject says it all. I am looking to pull the trigger on a "dress watch" this year. My only watch I have and wear everyday is a Breitling Super Avenger. I am looking to buy one of the three in the subject as a dress watch or at least dressier. I am looking for something to keep forever and pass down to my son. I do intend on buying more pieces in the future and am trying to get a well rounded collection to hand down. Any suggestions, recommendations or advice? https://photos.app.goo.gl/DceqFiswVPLwan1G8 https://photos.app.goo.gl/URMdRCXNmv3Wq5R27 https://photos.app.goo.gl/iLpDEpWzYrFbM5WLA Please note: The VC in the image is not the color dial I am wanting... I am leaning towards the red gold with cream dial. The jeweler didn't have one in stock. |

I love IWC but in this case I would go with the VC, especially if you went "manual wind" - you lose the date though not sure if that's a deal breaker for you... The reason why I pick the VC is the simplicity of the watch, makes it timeless regardless which version of VC. You can get a similar not the same look from a Glashutte "Sixties" model save some bucks & put it towards the kid's education - just a thought! ![]() Just get what sings to you the most....and enjoy it in good health!!! well, I'd look at the New Premier - it somehow "combines" your three options; both the blue & the latest black eyed grey are quite "dressy" on croc straps, but still provide excellent versatility beb: https://www.breitling.com/gb-en/watches ... 18A61C1P2/ beg: https://www.breitling.com/gb-en/watches ... 18221B1P1/ ![]() |
