I am currently becoming fascinated with unusual watches - companies that are taking the traditional concept of what a watch should be and tweaking it somewhat. There are the really 'out there' ones - the Romain Jerome Cabestan springs to mind, but they are typically out of the range of most people and are not necessarily practical. I stumbled across Carlo Ferrara the other day, don't know much about them but their prices are reasonable - the one I linked to below retails for around $8,000 list, and the piece is still practical. There are a number of different styles, but they all have the dual racetrack concept. What do you guys think? http://www.carloferrara.com/popup.php?i ... 12_eng.swf |

This is the 'Classic' so designed to be dressy - they have a 'Sport' and 'Jockey' range as well. http://www.carloferrara.com/popup.php?i ... 71_eng.swf This is the Jockey, a little less dressy, but I know what you mean. |

Usually when you guys start venturing into "unusual" pieces, you lose me. Not here those are cool looking!! Down my list, but on there! ![]() |

Interesting, can see why someone would like them, but way too many better options on my list. |

I like it also, but not that much. Too dressy for me. |

In true dressy style, they are fairly small - around 40mm. |
