Hope someone might be able to help.
My good friend bought one of these new for £100 in the late 60's. It has been in a drawer for many years, and before he starts to use it again, it will need a service.
Can anyone recommend an expert in the UK that might be able to tackle this.
Any other info would also be greatly appreciated.
Picture attached not the actual watch, but easily in as good condition.Image

Great watch, current value around 3000-4000 GBP , depending on how bad a buyer wants it
Any good watchmaker should be able to service the Valjoux 72 movement (I dont know any in the UK , sorry)

whatever he gets done, do not get the watch 'restored' or altered in any way but keep 'as is' with a serviced movement
