Not sure how many of you are interested in historical timekeeping devices, but there is an extremely unusual clock on sale at the moment.

Dates from the mid to late 18th century - link is to a babelfish translation - original page is in German:

Oh and yes, I did notice the price, no idea whether it is 'optimistic' or not - I mean really, how do you value something like this?

I like it and find it very interesting. Wouldn't say that the price is excessively optimistic because it's unique.

I agree, it is fascinating. Have neither the money nor the location for it, but it is a neat piece. :)

A great piece, but I have to agree - I think we "normal" watch lunatics are a bit too short on this one.
