Do any of the UK members have or know a very good watchsmith who does services? I do not mind posting my watches but want someone who gives a very good service. I have a couple of local guys but to be honest they are rubbish. I have a 14k seiko quartz that has a lot of sentimental value to me and it needed a new glass. I sent it in to the local watchsmith and it came back with a load of GLUE on the inside of the glass and he had forced the dial back in and creased it
As you can imagine I was NOT HAPPY and had a very heated disscusion with the idiot. I have told him I will be sending the watch elsewhere to be fixed and HE will be picking up the bill . I also need my Omega serived.
