I like the design a lot... what size is it?
Kind of looks like the Conchord in style.

I could see myself buying one if the price and size was reasonable.

I've seen that one (the steel/carbon one) a lot in AD's here in the UK, and I must say that I do like it. It always looks bigger than 46mm, but I've not handled one so can't say how it'd wear.

However, Ive just looked at the Ti version you posted the link to - first time I've seen that one - and I actually prefer it..... but it's Ti!

Whether you should buy it - well, I guess it all comes down to the same question I was asking myself about that Corum "Avast there me hearties!" Privateer recently - would you still want it if it was full retail?

Don't think the 'I can live with the looks' came out the way I intended - I meant to imply that was the difference between this and something like the Bubble. If the watch had a Breitling logo on it then it would make my list, it's the RW thing that is bugging me slightly.

The issue of what else the money could go towards is definitely a factor - especially in this current economy - let's face it, this is no Zenith, hard to find Breitling LE or Blackbird / Bluebird set.

I have R.W. in my store. The Nabucco series are nice looking, good funcitoning watches. They have no problems at all, despite the fact, that they are quite hard to sell. The reputation of RW does not really cover this pricerange, and for the money You have to spend for a watch like that, You will already get an Omega or even a smaller Breitling (SuperOcean Chrono on strap).

What do you guys think of this watch: I can get a good deal on this - it's actually the lighter dial with the Steel and Ti bracelet rather than the pictured one which has the CF dial and Steel and Ti bracelet. It's a very industrial looking piece, and it looks good on the wrist, I'm just not sure if it's going to disappoint me from a quality standpoint after Breitling.

Hmmmm, if it's Ti and Steel that's not so bad, but your comment, "I can live with the looks" doesn't sound like a man totally enamoured with it to me! I tend to think RW is nicer than Tag, but it's still not a brand I'd go out of my way for, personally. If it was my cash I'd be putting the money towards a new Breitling or one of those multitude of Zeniths you're after.

Yeah I guessed that was what you meant! There is always that particular LE I pointed you in the direction of! But it was a lot considering the current financial climate.

I think that's what's holding me back. With the economy being what it is my client base isn't going to be spending as much money next year so I'm trying to be more reasonable in my spending, and I'm not sure that I can justify the expense on something that wasn't on my radar until I was offered the deal. Previously the only Raymond Weil that I had really wanted was the Cuore Caldo, and that I ruled out for money reasons - that much on a RW!!!

I like this model, but, for the price it's way to expensive. I wasn't impressed with the quality of a RW Tango I was given for my Birthday (which subsequently eventually got upgraded to my Navitimer World), on the Tango, the dial wasn't straight in the case and the quality of print on the dial was bad too! The Nabucco is nice, but it's not a patch on Breitling. Stef
