Interesting movement. The "swinging" part of the cycle is actually very similar to that used by the Orbita Sparta models, although they swing in the more traditional rotary manner. I don't think this would cause any damage or anything as your wrist can swing quite suddenly when you are wearing a watch, but I
do wonder how efficiently this winder would wind the movement.
Rolling end-over-end seems like a bit of an odd plane to move in.
And you're right when you say it could ideally do with a rest period, so that was a good spot by yourself there, Bronco. Of course you could just switch it off once in a while.
I'm almost tempted to buy one to see if it works! Bit of an expensive experiment though!
