This Universal Genève Tri-Compax dated 1945 , 1st generation , is just back from Oliver Harffen's workshop and restored to its best possible condition. The case was clean but the cal.481 was really very tired . You have 2 problems with those complicated watches : finding the parts , and finding the watchmaker . And most of the parts except gears must be adjusted , so difficult for the watchmaker to anticipate his time and give a quote before starting the job . I had been enough lucky to catch a consistent batch of NOS parts in 2011, but the watch was sleeping in a drawer awaiting the watchmaker . My current watchmaker had started and resigned, tolding me that it was over his capacities . Oliver has been in love with UG Tri-Compax for over 20 years and in 2014 he decided to go across the border and establish as a profesional .
