I don't wear a ring. So never an issue.

I've never found the ss/gold or white gold/yellow gold combination appealing in a watch, yet that is (white gold/yellow gold) what I have in my wedding ring. For the ring, I think the combo looks great. Matching the ring with a watch, it matters not to me.

When it comes to style, this little fellow's Dad may be looked to for what's trending and he rarely wears a ring at all, but he's always sporting his Seamaster 300M.

I've never really liked yellow gold, so my wedding band is platinum. Both my watches are stainless steel. I do note when someone's wedding ring doesn't match his or her watch, but as watches are easier to change out than wedding bands, it doesn't really bother me.

I have been getting more into yellow/rose gold watches, although it will be a while before I ever get one. I won't be able to tolerate wearing a different color wedding band, so I'll probably have to buy a gold one.

One of my very favourite rings, is the Omega stainless steel ring I bought at the Vancouver Omega Boutique, when it opened in 2009. Since then, I have worn in with many of my Omega watches. Currently with my Mark II:

Since I no longer have a gold watch, the colour thing is not an issue. When I did have my gold Cartier, I (yellow gold) I preferred wearing it with a gold ring.

Cheers,
Carl

I once thought about this and found my concerns to be trivial. I made a life choice to be with someone I love and my ring symbolizes that (I too have the Russian Wedding Ring style bands). The watches I’m wearing are normally subject to my mood, occasion and budget. …or did I get this wrong?

Roffensian, a great ring! I play with it all the time. My need servicing. how about your’s?

17+ years strong and still doing fine. It doesn't look new anymore, but then neither do I, it's never been off my finger since my wife put it on me and I plan to keep it that way.

I go platinum ring and stainless watches. I think it's a great combo, and never looks out of place!

That's wonderful. Heading there myself. Thanks,

I have a titanium band. It's much cheaper than gold or platinum and it looks great with ss watches. One caution is that it is not resizable. Oh and it's light.

I went with a white tungsten for my wedding band. I think it matches basically everything, SS and rose gold are really all I have in watches. But I wear SS 99% of the time. Also not resizeable, however we purchased the lifetime replacement plan for $70 and anytime I need a new size, the store replaces it for free and they re-inscribe it as well. Already have received a replacement as I lost 50lbs and went down a whole ring size.

The upside to the the tungsten is that it is basically scratch proof and always looks new. All it takes is some soap and water if I really want a shine back on it. But it is indestructible for sure. Never comes off (except for this photo) either I wear it in the shower, at the gym, on the golf course, or during whatever activities I might be getting into. Looks like new no matter what I throw at it.
