From Bob's watches, shipped it the same day wire went through and it's coming tomorrow estimated at 10:30am. I can't wait, but the people at work might have to I'm going to wait for her to come in. This is my first rolex, a watch I've always wanted but have had multiple issues buying. I turned 30 so this is a birthday present to myself, from God (thanks!). I'll post pictures tomorrow hopefully before 10:30am. |

I put in the wire yesterday on the East Coast around noon, and this arrived this morning at 10:23am. https://www.dropbox.com/s/1dyo7fmwf9bf8bg/IMAG1524.jpg A beautiful solid feeling box with no openings, so how do you open it. https://www.dropbox.com/s/wu0o5rljk1t8zmn/IMAG1525.jpg Once I realized the box was sealed I just used a knife to cut through three sides. Inside the box is an inner box wrapped in bubble wrap with owners cards and info. I had to run to work so I didn't go through all of it. But it is very well packaged. https://www.dropbox.com/s/lcmowcr69zibcno/IMAG1526.jpg The watch arrived in beautiful condition set to East Coast time! That's service! I am still watching its performance but I am quite happy with it's looks. I get 3 days of return and 1 year warranty, every watch comes serviced. Is nice. I went with the 17610, a GMT Master II from 1991-2007(?). I didn't understand the differences between the GMT II and GMT but now I do. The GMT 24 hour hand is tied to the hour hand, it has a quickset date and doesn't have a sapphire crystal. The 17610 is reference GMT Master II just before the GMT Master II Ceramic. It comes with two very similar movements 3185 and 3186 starting around 2007, the differences being a different gear train in the hour/24 hour hand and a parachrome blue spring. This is a 3185 with niravox. It looks good and so far as advertised. There is very little play/stretch in the oyster lock bracelet and the crystal, dial, bezel, and case look fresh. It is much lighter on the wrist than even a chronomat. https://www.dropbox.com/s/rji16fzebyh1ur6/IMAG1527.jpg Almost a reflective deep black dial vs a matte finish on the Breitling Big Date Blackbird. https://www.dropbox.com/s/2d67c7ulqfx4o2w/IMAG1528.jpg I don't know how to embed these pix into this forum... |

Congrats, enjoy it for a long time. At some point you can get the "Pepsi" red and blue bezel and the "Coke" red and black bezel just to switch it up. Very nice... |
