Hello everyone

A update from Baselworld 2014 of course studding watchmaking its a must for us to see what the industry is bringing out I will also be going back to Baselworld this week. But I was very fortunate to meet some of my friends from the brands the CEO and Art Director of HYT watches And the Founders or Bremont as well as the director of Tissot, their all very lovely people and I got to have a good conversation with them and been invited to come for a factory visit and meet up with them I have to admit my hands were shaking and I was speechless to meet with them and be invited to work for their company was amazing. I also got to try the Blackjack 21 watch on one of my personal favourite watches that was also an experience to try it on and see how it works. My passion is watchmaking and watches and to get to do the things I did was just out of this world Its something I never expected to be able to do. I can't thank them all enough for the experience they have given me and for taking the time to speak with me. I will put more photos on in the week.

Thank you
Joe. :)

Very nice Joe!

I am sure as an Englishman the Bremont brothers will be well worth your getting to know!

You really are doing an amazing job, especially at such a young age, good for you (and sorry if that sounds patronising).

Great story and photos Joe. Glad you're having a good time, and meeting some of the owners in the watch industry!

Hi everyone

Thank you for you nice comments and no it's fine Roff it's nice that people
Understand it can be difficult at times and especially with my age. As you understand it's not so easy at a young age it's nice that people understand. But as I realise at my age it's a amazing oppertunity and one I had to just go for. And to meet people like this was just amazing I was shaking a little and to get to try the blackjack 21 on I was a little shocked. I am very grateful for everything people have done for me, I'm not too good with words :)

Its a wonderful thing to see a young man follow his passion and to see the path continue now into networking, seeing and meeting important people in the industry which could help you along the way. The fact that it happens to be in what might be considered a nontraditional industry, and one we personally find quite interesting, makes it that much more enjoyable. As someone whose children are also on or beginning their own journeys, its heartwarming to follow. Continued good luck to you.

Hello

Thank you so much for your support and for taking the time to read my post, For most teenagers they have dreams of meeting famous singers and actors and for me with my passion for watches and watchmaking this was one of my dreams come true to get to meet and talk to the people who created the watches Its been a huge jump from when I started at home to now and when if first started and people kept saying I was too young I just kept pushing and pushing because this is all I have wanted to do so I never let my age or anything stop me I have send quite a few emails to companies in the past but its been worth it and I have learned a lot from every step and I still have a lot more to learn.

Thank you everyone!
Joe :)

Some more pictures from Baselworld today was my last day but It really has been amazing got hands on with a lot more watches with out having to book an appointment but I would say for me the highlight was trying the Blackjack 21 watch on must take some skill to design a movement like that. Also go to view the Nomos lambda and met the designer of christiaan van der claw watches It was the best Baselworld I have had, I have to thank the people who speared their time to show me the watches and spent time with me. :) :)
