did you buy from an AD? if so I would have them do the work....if not take it to them and they can send it into brietling corp to have them "tune" up the watch...

Residue on the hands  Are you 100% sure you did not buy a fake (and a bad one at that) because it is impossible Breitling would let a watch pass that has residue on the hands :!: If it is real some incompetent a-hole must have tampered with it. :(

I can only agree - I find it hard to believe that something like that could pass qc.

Remember though guys that the Crosswind is an older model though, so I'm guessing it was bought second-hand.... in which case Breitling QC has nothing to do with it. It sounds to me that it may have got a bit of moisture in it at some point. I had a Seiko years ago that was badly resealed at a battery change and as a result it got moisture inside which caused the hands to blacken in places.

I'd suggest a full service at Breitling would be the order of the day here.

I agree 100%, if it's a fake also that will be revealed at the same time

Driver......If you are not a father you will one day make a good one. You always have such sound and comforting advise. :P Seriously though, your knowledge and input is valued and appreciated. :D

Oh, nice watch ChengLiu and good luck with your dilemma. Keep us posted.
