Hello again. Well, I traded my Montbrillant Olympus. After owning it a short while, I realized the size was just too small. So I am trading up for a Panerai 328. I have always loved the way Pams look on the wrist, and I was hoping to get a little feedback from other Panerai owners about the watch. BTW, the trade is being done at DFW, another forum sponsor, and so far it's been a pleasurable experience. The staff is very knowledgable and friendly. Eases the fact the the transaction is being made basically sight unseen, plus they are giving me a really nice trade in value on my Oly :strummin: Thanks in advance!

depends on whether you want it with the bracelet or on a strap? If you're not fussed on the bracelet, perhaps consider a 312. Essentially the same watch.
But if you like the bracelet, then congrats!

I love the bracelet, and i can add a strap down the road if I want too. The bracelet is like 2500 dollars so I'd rather pay up front for it.

Then definitely go for the 328. I'd personally never wear it, so would save the money. But if you are going to wear it then definitely worth the upfront cost.

I figured I would add a rubber strap first, to get me through the winter, and add a leather strap or two later on down the road. Primarily wearing it on the bracelet for the warmer months. The leathers do class it up quite a bit as well. It will be great to have a few different options, like with me Breitlings.

When you realize how dumb it was to get ride of the Olympus let me know! I'll sell you mine. Btw DFW is the best, I've done dozens of deal with Matt and I've always been impressed. He's a great guy!

I may regret it one day, but I just couldn't get over the size. If i got another moon phase it would be the Navi 1461. Perfect size at 46mm. I've been dealing with Emily at DFW and she's been great.

Coming in tomorrow.. Can't wait! Even if everyone hear though it was a bad idea I could care less, I'm very excited for this one. I know it's not a Breitling, but everyone needs a little versatility in their collection!

Everyone thought it was a bad idea? I think it's a great idea! I just wouldn't wear the PAM bracelet as I love the strap options.

I love it on a bracelet or a strap. But I have to say I prefer the older style polished and brushed bracelet, but it's still nice. I was only saying it didn't matter to me if anyone thought it was a bad or good idea, I still am very happy either way!

Thanks Paul! Part of the reason I am drawn to the band is they are not as popular as some other brands but still a very good company. I've always loved the look of a Panerai.

The in house Pams are way too thick for me to wear, but if you can pull off the Chronomat GMT, you should be fine.

So, where is this thing?? I would have moved the olympus too. Looking at your collection a little variety is just what the Dr. ordered!
