I wonder how many members on this site look through all of the categories or blogs or whatever you call them. Maybe a ton of people here but maybe they only check certain parts of the site and don't see this area to be aware of the voting. I agree with the statement about searching for answers without posting questions. I originally had no intention of joining any website like this however when I started researching watches before purchasing, I couldn't see the pictures you people posted here without being a member. Then I joined so I could see what you were talking about. I'm glad I did. Interesting input from obviously informed and experienced individuals. Now, even if I can't afford many of the watches talked about, at least now I know what I'm missing and why.

OK, a bit of a mea culpa - I was prepping round 2 and found that I missed one of the round 1 voting threads - my apologies.

I've added it now for only 3 days to save time - Cartier Tank Louis Cartier XL vs. IWC Yacht Club - viewtopic.php?f=25&t=51832

Not sure how it got missed because I thought I had double checked, but obviously I did because it's not there!

Tough ones this time around.. Breitling had some serious competitors. It will be interesting to see which ones make the cut if any.

OK, 3 day tie breakers are now up for the ties. I'm starting to understand how Sisyphus felt trying to get through this.......

 Nice (and no doubt very apt) analogy there Roff. I do feel for you on this one - lots of work and not a lot of uptake. Still, it'll still be interesting to see the outcome (whenever that may be!).

I almost never use my laptop for web surfing, just the iPad. That means I access the site primarily through Tapatalk and go to Timeline or Participated. I tend not to scroll down because I am still stuck in the laptop/PC mindset of clicking Next Page. I end up missing a lot more and if the matchups are below the first several topics, they are off the screen. I know it sounds lame but I missed round 2 entirely. And even if I go to Forums I have to guess where the correct sub forum is and when I get to the Forum Projects, I can't vote. I wonder how many others are missing stuff due to using a tablet like the iPad with the Tapatalk app? It seems every other update changes the names of the choices on Tapatalk. Shoot, I had the original Atari when it first came out if that gives you any clues to my learning curve.

Typed while reclining with my laptop on the floor within arm's reach (but that involves stuff like moving...and bending). ;)

3rd round matchups now up, a couple of tough ones!

Honestly can't believe what we have as the final 16, some very odd results so far.

Interesting matchups. I found myself voting against 3 watches I owned - two I liked, one I disliked.

What a weird collection of pieces left in! I'm astonished by the number of IWCs still there.

I've owned a couple of the pieces still going strong in the competition, but I sold them both for one reason or another. I think I'd probably own 2 out of the remaining ones left in... no more than that.

Ditto on the number of IWCs. Voting in last round I kept finding myself voting for them, even though in my mind I say I don't really care for them. Guess I do, or it was because of what they were up against. Glad to see that the Speedy make it another round further.
