Hi Everyone

I said in my last post that it would be a long time before the next updated but here I am again lol :) We are in the last week before the long Christmas holiday when we all get to go home for 1 month I am existed to see my parents and friends feels like ages since I saw them last. Its been a busy few weeks getting trough things before the break Now we have been flattening wheels in the movements and checking the condition of the wheels and pivots and also learning end shake in the jewels so we have been fitting jewels and putting the correct end shake on each one this has been interesting. When we start back in january we will have an exam on the gear train and winding and setting mechanism and barrel. Le Locle is getting into the spirit of christmas and so are the manufactures with tissot having the best lights up I haven't got a picture yet but will post one soon.

And as always thanks for looking
and I wish everyone a happy holiday
Joe. :)

This is for checking the wheels only for the teacher at the minuet so the exams are fairly marked because the device show if the wheel is flat. We use the eyeglass and then the microscope to flatten the wheels.

This is a special picture for me because this is my first ever bench at home before I started on any course when I was just stating out when I was just turning 16 and I showed it to Breitling and they invited me to their factory and the owner of Breitling had a look at it.

You're making great progress Joe, congratulations. Like your first bench, but brave man working without a trough at the front of the bench!

Hi

Thanks everyone I hope you all have a good holiday. And yes Roff their I spent many hours on the floor looking for parts with that bench thankfully things have changed well the bench anyway ;) and hopefully I would like a small workshop at home so I can service my own.
