Hi everyone

I have a breitling for bentley Gt racing and I am in two minds whether to change it for a Rolex explorer I like them both
But I am more towards the Rolex. But I love the GT as well I just would like some opinions on what you thing about them.

Two very different watches. The Rolex is a mature choice for someone as young as you are, although obviously you are not a typical teenager (and I mean that in the best way) so if that's what your heart says.........

I say no, because you need at least one big watch in your collection!

Edit, that explorer looks awesome.

Its your choice and for you to do as you think best. But you are wanting opinions; so mine is that I would stay where you are. But that's me.

The Bentley has an appearance almost all of its own. In saying that, there are probably some other brands that look similar or follow the same format. There is an essence of Bentley in this model, real or perceived, and which I find compelling.

Best of luck on your choice.

Hi

Thank you everyone for you opinion I like to see what people
Think. as you all know I am young so I am trying not to rush in and
Just decide without having a good think. My only problem is as said already
They are two very different watches but my hart says the
Rolex because it's modern and the in house movement has also become something
That I am interested in I really like the design as well. I understand what you mean Roff the Rolex
Is a mature watch where as the Bentley is more fun in design and looks. And also as stated its a big watch that stands out.

I have another two weeks to decide so I am going to do lots of research and looking at the watch
Thankfully I can go into the shop and try it on. Of anyone Ells has anymore opinions or if have owned
The watch you input would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you all so much for your thoughts I really appreciate them because you have had a lot
More experience on changing watches. :)

Hi Joe - personally, if it was my cash then I'd be swapping that Bentley GT for the Explorer without a moments hesitation...... but that's because I am probably almost twice your age and I've never been the biggest Bentley GT fan anyway!

In all seriousness the more classic looks of the Explorer will stand the test of time far better than the GT IMO, plus the tried and tested in-house movement would be more than enough to get me to make the change.

Hi Everyone

I have hopefully got the Explorer it should be waiting in the shop for when I fly back sadly he said it had sold but the man who bought it wife wasn't happy so he is selling it back. but the good news is that
since I used to work in the shop I got a good discount so hopefully the Bentley will not have to go hopefully but I don't know
for certain until I get back. But I did fall in love with the watch especially because its has the new big case and the most important for me was the updated movement.
But until I fly back on the 13th Its going to be a long wait to see it. Ill hopefully have some pictures if everything goes to plan.
I think Im going to be working all holiday but It worth it.

And I thank you all for your input. :)

Congratulations - some things are just meant to happen and sounds as though that Explorer had your name on it. Here's hoping that you can keep the GT too!

Hi Roff thanks and yes it seems that way I couldn't believe it when he said he could get it back. And yes I am very fortunate to be able to keep that hopefully. I just hope it was the right choice but until I see it in person I just hope its as good as the pictures. :) :)

Joe the explorer 1 is a timeless classic. As much as I like the GT (and I have owned 2) the explorer one is a piece that you will wear from now till the grave. Jmo

Hi yes I think that another reason why I fell in love with it because the simple classic look nothing complicated. And although
I love the GT its always up dated and changed like the new version. I also fell in love with the new oyster strap design. :)

Hi everyone

Just an update I collected my Rolex today and I'm in love with it, still has
All the stickers on it and everything just like new, the other good news is the Bentley
Is staying with me but the Jaeger lecoultra is going. Just a few pictures but I am so happy with it.
