Pretty cool. I know there's always threads on beater options, this could be one for somebody. Initial reaction for me was, seems pricey for a Swiss Army watch. But I've been wearing a quartz SA for many years and it has held up to my drunken escapades. https://www.swissarmy.com/us/product/Timepieces/Category/Collections/Alpnach/Alpnach-Automatic-Chronograph-Special-Edition/241530;jsessionid=FDA16E11AFE66DB8A47C21282463B694.vx-prd-hybris3 |

Yep, I like them too. There is much to recommend. I have a Charmex, which are not the same but are in the same vein (COSC certified as well). Is it the Alpnach Chronograph you are looking at? The link took me to knives, so I assume its the 241530 model that you are after? Very Nice. |

Link works for me, but yeah that was the one I'm talking about. |

I've been using a victorinox as a beater for awhile now. This automatic has held up really well and I actually really like wearing this watch. It typically only comes out when travelling to more off the beaten path places in the world, but I still think its a quality watch when I do wear it. ![]() Sent from my XT907 using Tapatalk |
