Hi everyone

Just a update, I have started pivot gauges its very interesting but at first it was difficult to turn the cylinder without marking the blue steel in the photo this is just the cylinder I still have to turn the pivot. We also had a go on the topping tool very interesting but this is more for restoration. And now our teachers are preparing everything for the second year including some Ulysses Nardin movements to work on. And maybe a new tool for the school a high speed camera maybe. And today I had a nice walk round Le locle to take some pictures of the manufactures I have to say even though I have been hear for over a year now I still haven't seen everything yet. :D :D

Very nice Joe, and if you can smuggle that topping tool out I'll give you a few bucks for it

Nice job on the blued steel, a lot less forgiving than regular stainless!

Haha I wish if I could I have look all over for a good one and they just don't seem to appear my teacher restored this one and he was lucky enough to get all the accessories. But maybe if I can get it under my coat :) And thank you yes I found it difficult at first because their is so much graver sharpening involved. :)
