The new Omega anti-magnetic AT is now officially for sale. The first one in Canada appeared at the Omega Boutique this week. I'm glad that I went down to see it today, as they sold it shortly after I left.
Managed to get a few decent wrist shots. It really looks quite different in real life, perhaps a bit "blingy" even, for want of a better expression. Apparently, the black dial has had some treatment with yellow, which gives it an almost dark brown or anthracite hue. And a bit of a suburst effect as well. The bracelet has PCLs (polished centre lnks), and the markers are apparently diamond polished and are even shinier than those of the other AT models. IMO the dial is a bit "busy", especially for a chronometer with only a date function. One of those love it or hate it things.

One of my current favourites, the Bullhead reissue was on display. Not usually a fan of white dials, I think this one is amazing. Almost looks like a real retro vintage to me, one of the best Omega has done IMO:
They aren't exactly giving this one away, either at around 9 grand (can't remember exact price) but it certainly is unique. I don't think there was ever another watch like it.
One of my favourites is the new '57 Speedy reissue, with 9300 movement. At only 41.5mm, it really is about as small a case as that can fit that movement, one thing I really appreciate about certain watches. The regular Speedy 9300, for example is 44.5mm, although it does wear smaller to me and is very comfortable.

All-in-all a wonderful Boutique visit. Thanks to Sasan and the others there who always make me feel more like a friend than a client! If it was not for them, I would really have nobody here to discuss watches with!
