I have never seen one of these in the flesh, so to speak, so I don't know really and probably should not comment. They look OK, but I have a real set of rules I apply to the looks of this watch style, and apart from its features and quality of its movement. Keeping it similar or the same as the original is always preferable IMHO.

Each to their own though and if you like it, then don’t let my comments put you off. Some here may enjoy the look of this one, but I am not one of them. Laco, IWC, Wempe, even Aristo are all great and reasonably true to the original, and I like it like that.

Amazing value for money for an annual calendar - iconic El Primero movement (in a variant that is less likely to break if you look at it funny) and great looks. It's still huge, but less so compared to the 57.5mm thing that they brought out last year.

The only problem with the steel version - it's not the absolutely stunning rose gold version.
