So this may seem like a silly question and overall the answer is "wear it how you want"... But I found it interesting, especially as I began stairing at people's wrists, lol. Is there a "correct" place to wear a watch on your wrist? Meaning before or after the wrist bone that sticks out a bit on your arms outer side near your hand. I always wear my watches closer to my hand. Further up my arm feels strange to me. But after getting my new Breitling, this 1/2lb + beast is not easy to wear. It's top heavy case causes it to fall to one side forcing me to wear my band tighter then usual. I now find the watch creeping up my arm (so I can bend my wrist more comfortabley) and not moving around as much. I started looking at friends and co-workers and they all seem to wear it there in the first place. Am I the odd watch wearer? How do you guys wear your watch ? ![]() |

Um.. On my wrist;) I wear mine above as well, it's a little less restricting that way. My bracelets slide down though because I wear them a little looser than my straps. |

Believe it or not it's been asked before. Search for "ulnar styloid" and you'll learn more than you ever wanted to. Personally, I generally wear above, but some of my watches slide down. |

I wear as in 2nd pic. Too close to the wrist - can't bend wrist freely. |

I wear larger watches so I wear mine above as well. |

Yup, discussed several times here. But I always wear mine on the arm above the bone. Feels too weird to me, to smush it down against the hand, and limits the wrist flexion. Some people like it like that, though. |

I wear my watch just above the wrist bone, tightly (3rd eye on the strap) & watch face, facing me. Used to know a person who would wear his watch on the underside of his wrist! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free |

Always over rather than above the wrist bone, ie nearer the hand. I just feel like you're fighting gravity otherwise. |

Always above my ulnar styloid (wrist bone), and always adjusted to fit perfectly so it doesn't slip down........., and that goes for strap and bracelet fitted watches. I absolutely cannot STAND having a watch flapping around my hand like a lady's bracelet! That's Chinese water-torture for me! |

Definitely above the bone for me. I've never considered wearing it any other way. |

For all the years of dress shirts, I wore closer to the hand for quick viewing. Still wear it now but with "business casual", I slide it back and forth a bit. Always keep it a little loose, as I detest sticky wrists. |

I wear the SA in the second pic. But it slides down sometimes or falls to one side but its fine with me. The watch had 14 links but i wear 12 to suit my 7 inch wrist |
