Chanced across this one earlier today. Whats the feeling out there? Is it in the race or is it pipped at the post?

Actually quite like it, especially the hands and exhibition back. I prefer the black faced model. Shame about the 50m WR but hey, it's a drive watch so should be fine so long as you wind up the glass in the car wash.

I don't dislike it for what it is.

The script font on the caseback and the perforated handset reminds me a little of B.R.M.... but that's as far as that comparison goes.

My reason for posting was, that this is the closest thing I have seen yet to anything that is a close and fastidious replica of the Porsche 956 in style. The dashboard detail in particular. I think they have captured that very well.

I can only go on the pictures, but it seems to me that as they were searching for that vehicle as inspiration. If that’s the case, they seem to have nailed it beautifully. Type face and its 1950’s print quality is just like the original (although much bigger and on the dashboard of an iconic vehicle obviously). So well done.

Not bad overall.
