Hi everyone,

I will not get you bored with alot of talking because the pics that are about to follow are pretty self-explanatory.

We are all familiar with the infamous Pam 026A and what great of a watch it is being destro. Well, time takes its toll to the old guys so they need a refreshment from time to time. In this particular case, this watch was completely refinished in every aspect.

Here are some of the things done to it:

1. Removing the old PVD coating
2. Getting out all the dents and inconsistencies from the case set
3. Beadblasting
4. DLC coating
5. Overhauling the movement and getting it cleaned each individual part in an ultrasonic centrifuge drum
6. Putting the watch back together
7. Pressure testing and regulating

Enjoy the pictures :)

Hmmm, yes. I PM'd you about this. I took the time to respectfully greet you and to enquire as to who does these.

You responded with a facebook link. Nothing else.

That's a no from me.

To be fair to kroexist, he is trying to avoid running afoul of the rules on promoting commercial ventures on the site.

BUT it was via pm, and he was solicited not the other way around..... maybe he could have helped him out a little more than that?

I'd have thought a 'hello' or 'thanks for asking' might have been a reasonable preface to the link and be extremely unlikely to cause you to fall foul of any forum rules. Rules of decorum...

I should agree with you.... Being on a hurry in the middle of something, does not excuse me of not being polite and greet you accordingly.

I don't believe it is appropriate in this forum for people to be chastised and forced to apologize. Your Panerai is absolutely beautiful and that's what this general forum is about! Maybe up2nogood is up to no good. Enough said!

I can understand the Breitling and Panerai, but looking at your signature, I'd be curious to see the AP.

Hmmm, not quite. Not ever did I attempt to force anyone to apologize. But since Nick has explained he was just in a hurry and not being rude, I don't think there's any further need to discuss this.

In any event, the reason I did get in touch was that it is a very nice job.

Alex
