I saw this piece a couple days ago, very interesting for sure. This seller also has a WWI German pocket watch I've been eyeing. |

Actually there is only a picture of the case, no dial or movement shots, so I probably would have passed on this anyways. |

Re the IWC: The case has been made recently for this type of seller. Storm trouper is a WWII adage. Some of these movements are likely just old pocket watch movements that have been engraved to suit the current market. I would be very cautious. |

I'd like to buy a nice antique pocket watch, but only when I find the right one and the price is right. Nothing I will rush into.. |
