Hoping someone could take a look at this watch Ebay item number - 140271150371

I recently bought and sold a Breitling Colt ocean, it was to small for me and was wandering if this was a bigger watch. They say 40mm including crown etc. Also what would be good price for this.

Any advice would be very helpful.

Wayne

I would stay clear from that watch: there are no useable photographs. You cannot see any details. No photo from the back, although, the watch looks real

:yeahthat

Not any bigger Wayne. It's 38mm.

If you want a chunkier watch, look at a Steelfish. Very similar design to the Colt but a whole lot bigger at 44mm. Here's one to have a look at 270280466444.

Be aware there are VERY good replicas of this watch available. Don't buy without full paperwork and macro pics front and back.

Just as Frankenstein's Monster was a man made from odd spare parts, then a frankenwatch is a watch made up of miscellaneous parts to create something that may or may not look genuine but is in fact no known model. Unfortunately it's pretty common in the vintage watch market as restoring watches with genuine parts becomes difficult over time as parts become more rare.
