I found this in my travels and found it to be a very nice piece with many of the Ball technologies very interesting (Shock absorbtion, gas tubes). My first time exploring Ball which I suspect is rare around this fourm. Not sure if I like the white one but the black.......any comments?

Hi Etodd31856!

Ball are an interesting watch and there have been a few posts here in the past regarding them. I can't say this one does much for me personally however, sight unseen. Might look better close up and personal. If you like, then it’s your decision that matters. From my perspective, the main problem with this one is there is a bit of confusion with the arrow/spade hour hand, railway clocks aside. Does not suit the image of the watch IMHO. Markers are very deep and rounded, which always looks a little cheap to me. Just my opinion though.

Ball are a rugged pioneering watch company, or so that is the feeling I get. I also get the feeling you need a small striped cloth cap on your head and a ball peen hammer in your belt to appreciate them. Obviously not the case, but I can’t get that image out of my head. :) Thats my problem.

That aside, as soon as I saw this one, I could not stop thinking about a Citizen Eco Drive World Timer I noticed a few years back. Therefore, are watches of this type derivative of a long line of WT watches or can’t the comparisons be helped? I’m not sure. :strummin:

Thanks for the post. Agree have to see the watch in person. Not sure a guy in a striped hat is dropping 4k on a watch! lol. Thanks again!

I personally quite like it. I like the 3 dimensional look that makes it highly legible. However I don't like the markers and would prefer defined cuts than rounded ends. Don't really like the second hand sweep too. Other than that the colors used and entire design are just right IMO...Informative but not too busy...however won't really consider buying this cos for some reason it doesn't have that "high end" look. Haven't really sort out the reason behind it, maybe because I'm not familiar with Ball watches. Just my 2 cents worth...
