I am not sure how to verify if the Perrelet GMT is real or fake but the research I have done is that they have not copied this specific watch. Also considering on going to a jeweler
What is the forums thoughts on the the trade? I rarely wear my Breitling because it is plastic casing and hand painted so I am afraid I will damage it.
The trade would be even. He is only asking 500 for his but retails around 2k. I know I could sell mine for 1,000 all day long on ebay.

Can't take my word 100% but that looks pretty legit. The detailing on the movement is pretty ornate to be a fake.

Financially it's a fair trade, but I'd take the Sprint.

I agree mine is mint. But worried about durability
I can be pretty hard on my watches.

I also don't know a lot about Perrelet watches

Buy a beater and save the Sprint for special occasions. These Sprints sold for $450 all day long a few years ago so they are appreciating.

I use to own the blue version of that Sprint. The case is pretty durable although it did discolour a little. I'd keep it.

Well more accurately he is fronting for someone who is crazy, and well known for having ridiculous prices on highly dubious (at best) pieces.
