I recently had to sell a newly acquired Intruder to fund an overhaul of my CSO. Fortunately it needed only a service which left me with some modest funds for a nice beater. Picked up this 2004 Hamilton H76516533 on eBay UK for a very good price! It's in nice condition with box and papers. I'm impressed with the build quality and I think it has good wrist presence. My first Hamilton, though I doubt it will be my last.

Nice one there by the looks of it.

Hamiltons are great watches. I have one, almost bought a second, but refrained as it was too much the one I have already. Good honest quality and interesting features. Mine is a Khaki Xwind with yellow face (the most unpopular model I feel), but for all that, I absolutely love the thing.

Enjoy your beater. I enjoy mine.

Thanks. I love the x wind which in the UK costs at least £880, still great value.. Only seen the yellow faced version once but I think it looks much better in real life than in the pics. In fact, I think that most Hamiltons are more impressive in real life than the photgraphs suggest.

I picked mine up second hand for about $500.00, including box and papers, in the US a few years ago.

I agree, they definitely look better in the flesh than in pictures. My wife calls my version 'that Custard Face watch' Oh dear.

Here it is, out in the sunshine with some friends. The strap is deceiving, as its actually a very dark brown and not black. They have nice balance too.
