This will surely polarise opinion here! Personally I love it, but then I love modern takes on retro models. The original was from 1969, and this is a superb update. The only possible downside is the notably fragile 3313 movement. I think its great in black but other colours are available. Stick it on an Isofrane and it's an instant classic.

Here's another link with more pics of the Bullhead at the bottom. Not sure how legible the silver is, but a pretty striking look.

Ha, I like how they noted in that article when talking about the dark side of the moon that using DLC isn't up to Omega's quality standards......

Hubba hubba. Superb. One just has to salute Omega at the minute, on the design front they're getting so much right.

great, absolutely great.
the major difference is that Omega is proud and knowledgeable about it's heritage, listens to the collectors and the highly involved blogosphere - Robert-Jan is a good example; they maybe overdo it with the number the homage Speedmaster launches a little from time to time, but remain mostly true to the iconic design language while advancing technology in movements and case materials. nice.

I caught that too! Very smart.

I love these bullheads; they're really nicely done!

I'm quite surprised (in a good way) that there's so much love for this one here - I thought it'd be a real polariser of opinion.

I knew it all along, but we've got some classy guys here!

Ablogtowatch has a YouTube video of the bullheads: they're so awesome!!!! Im shocked that I like something to radically different And they appear to wear smaller than I expected which is great news.

I've recently been cured of my watch-infection; sniffle sniffle I think I'm getting sick again.

adding this video here, one more beautiful than the other, rotating bezel in GMT, hour and minute versions - for me the by far nicest realistically affordable new Basel release; respecting heritage while adding a modern "twist" to the design. very impressed.

this one has not been mentioned yet, the New AT GMT chrono; quite nice, looking miniscule with those nice 43.5 mm if you happen to watch the video after the Emergency.

Nice videos Fred. Omega are doing some very good things at the moment. Classy and yet innovative ; modern and yet retro - very cool.

I'm a fan of bullheads so of course i love it. It'd be great to see Breitling follow suit.
