Tag has been quietly putting out some really really nice watches recently, I especially like their new releases including their Bullhead chrono, the shape of the case reminds me of the JLC Extreme Lab2. I can see myself getting a Tag soon.

Tag has really come a long way in the last decade and now has real substance - although it may still take some time to shake off the stigma. I still think of Breitling when I think of bull heads, but the case sides / lugs on that one look very sleek.

Pretty nice! The chrono kind of reminds of zenith striking 10th for some strange reason. But a little less busy.

When I was a kid I always wanted a tag. Who knows..... Might get one in the near future.

Today's Ablogtowatch post has el primero movement models. Tag is definitely stepping up, and I'm guessing the price isn't nuts.

LOVE this piece, I have always been a fan of the Carrera since I owned a Carrera day/date. Now the Carrera has an inhouse 1887 movement and a ceramic bezel! WTF is Breitling doing? I think I will be picking this up this year....sandblasted titanium case mmmmmm nice!

Would like to handle it to see what it actually feels like, and not sure about more of the black and red thing. Also wish that it really was a Tag movement.

I like the black and red.

It's not entirely manufactured in house? What's the deal with it?

I've been back and forth on this and the dark side of the moon; I think the speedy is gonna win. Didn't realize the speedy dial and clasp were also made from ceramics as well.

It's an 'in house' Tag movement that just so happens to be licensed from Seiko - http://forums.watchuseek.com/f2/tag-heu ... 36032.html

That's interesting; I haven't heard of that before. They make in inhouse but licensed the design from Seiko; kind of a grey area.

If it was licensed from ETA then it would be pretty black and white (to most people), I think that it's a stretch to call it in house.

50% 60%? Seiko quality has got to be good, so go for it.

I think the main thing is that these watches will probably not disappoint. The Carrera has always been a favourite of mine and these look the business. Recently, I saw a pic of Jack wearing an original (from the early 50', I think) and comparing it to more recent versions. What a difference, but still the same, sort of……… With Jack back as Special Consultant, things can only be looking up for TAG.

Nice dress watches. :)

Agreed. Very nice from Tag. Another step in the right direction.
