Do you guys run your chrono second hand? Does it wear the movement out faster by letting it run all the tie and make a significant difference in the stored energy?

I don't but would assume it decreases the watches power reserve. I believe most chrono's are not designed to do so and may be more prone to malfunction or service sooner.

There are a lot of threads on this already. Running the chrono constantly has no practical impact - it will cause marginal extra wear on the gear train but as service intervals are driven by oil breakdown in modern watches that's not really an issue. It will reduce the power reserve but for a daily wearer or a watch on a winder that won't be noticeable. The chrono may also affect the accuracy of the watch, although that could be an improvement or a worsening depending on the individual watch.

Chrono owners should, as a best practice, run the chrono for a 24 hour period once a month or so in order to prevent the oils from migrating from where they are needed.

I run my chrono 24/7. I paid for those extra hands, I want them doing something.

If you have a chrono stop second hand that is in a braked position when its not being used, then it is best to run it. So I have been told..........

I assume that you mean stopped but not reset. I guess that there is a marginal argument for that but it really isn't a practical issue.
