Not normally a style of watch I'd go for... but man that display back is beautiful! I love the large second hand dial and the double tick per second.

What do others think? Yay or nay?

I have a petty foible re roman numerals but there's lots to gawp at and like there; as you say, the display back is stunning.

I am a sucker for these independent brands and this is a gorgeous piece, for a relatively reasonable price point. Would pick it up in a heartbeat at the right price.

It gets a definite Yay from me.

I've not watched the video yet, but 1Hz is going to be 2 beats a second : almost quartz-like in appearance. very cool.

And a very very nice caseback as well.

I agree with Roff, in part. I like the independents too. This one does not set my wallet racing though. Its trying too hard and full of confusing messages.
