I'm quite content with my two lings, but always get the urge as Spring approaches to buy a watch. Certainly not for everyone, but for some reason I probably like this more than I should... even after reading a couple of threads with people beating up the brand. lol But for $777 I'm not going to worry about that too much.

Will do, but have no indication from the site when that will be. I like the style, color, and is my ideal size, so hopefully it passes the in-person test as well.

Looking at the case and lug setup I bet that would look good as a 40, wearing a bit larger.

Yes, 40mm may just work out great. Also had my eye on the 40mm Helson Sharkdiver, nice dials, but the case/lug design is a little strange looking.

i believe Sharkman owns a Christopher Ward and has some good things to say about them. You should ask him about the watch brand

Indeed, thanks boogiebot - ISTR we had a brief (me inquisitive, he positive) exchange along those lines when he got his.

I really like what Lum-Tec is doing. The cynic in me wonders how they are going to deliver so many upcoming models, but they are undoubtedly have a strong following and very good products. I also like that they aren't being tempted to go with Swiss movements just for the image but sticking with solid Japanese movements that help keep the costs down.

Tomorrow I'll probably buy my 2nd Lum Tec even before I receive the first. (Estimated for May) For those who have requested pictures obviously I can't provide them of watches I don't have, but here's a few shots I've seen along the way that have me sold. Personally I don't see much, if anything out there at this price point that is as nice. I like the third pic as it appears to show how good the finishing is on this watch.

These pictures are really convincing. I like these LumeTecs, they look sharp and the lume is just awesome.
