Man, you can't beat the legibility of the PO. No matter what the conditions, the hands POP. Even on a cloudy day, what ever little light there is, it seems to find the hands and indices. That, combined with the matte dial, makes this watch the most legible I've owned. Omega always do a really nice job on the lume too. For me, Omega, along with Panerai and Seiko do the best lume out there. |

The best thing about the PO, this applies to any version, is that it looks amazing in any configuration. Actually that's quite an interesting fact I think.... and one I didn't know. (Or maybe I'm just a sad git!)  Odd they still own the rights to something they don't use themselves. Mind you, LB is so much better, I don't blame them.

They don't need the capital that they would raise by selling and the secure revenue stream must be really nice when you think how prevalent SL is. It's a great business model - retain exclusive access to your own superior technology and still make money from the competitors that you refuse to sell that technology to. |
