Breitling is #3, and Panerai is #6. The interesting thing is that I feel like I want Breitling to go UP in ranking, but at the same time I want Panerai to go DOWN. Anyone else who owns both brands feel this way?

And of course, king daddy Rolex garnered as much queries as the other 4 brands in the top 5 combined...

Interesting article but those rankings are by search requests so don't really equate to very much other than popularity and would make sense as Breitling is far more well known than Panerai imo.

I'd rather my Breitling holds its value better than become higher up in the search rankings

Volume of pieces also plays a part there. That's looking at Chrono24 which is predominantly European listings and Breitling has had a presence in Europe for longer than elsewhere in the world which will skew the rankings - global eBay search results might be more meaningful (although I wouldn't expect much change in relative positions).

Ha, ha, Chrono24 search stats. I wonder how much I have skewed these stats in Breitling favour in the last 12 months
