You'll love it. I have the blue dial on the bracelet.

The only Rolex I've EVER liked was the Yachtmaster. I had seen it at 100's of AD's and always been tempted to buy it...but never did.

The first time I saw the UN at an AD, I tried it on, and purchased it on the spot.

Since then I have never thought about the yachtie again. This thing is the real deal and I suggest you get it ASAP.

You are an enabler! :D I had only seen it on the rubber strap until I stumbled on this picture with the bracelet. Now I really really like it. Sure would like to see it in person... I wil have to check around for a AD.

Interesting dial. The longer I look at it, the more things I notice. I like it :)

That's a very nice watch - I personally prefer the chronograph version in ivory / silver, but the Maxi Marine is a great piece.

@hnb - the regular version is about $5k, the chronograph about $6k - street prices.

Retails $6500 with rubber strap and $7500 on a bracelet. (USD)

Of course actual purchase price would be a lot lower given a discount of some sorts.

Here's the one I was referring to. Prefer it on the bracelet, but then I also prefer it in gold

Definitely go check it out at an AD. The bracelet is amazing on this thing, heavy, blingy, and comfortable.

5:1 says you buy it within 1 month of trying it on at an AD...this watch is just that impressive in person.

That one is nice as well. I dont think the rubber strap does that model justice, though. Your "favorite" looks a little dressy and would look a lot better (IMO) on a bracelet or leather.

I favor the Maxi Marine because of the "diver" look. That bezel is bad @ss! Of course it doesnt hurt that its got a power reserve indicator and its also certified!

The non chrono version certainly has that more rugged look.

The Maxi marine range is tremendous value (for UN) and I agree with mboverst, if you try one on you'll likely buy it if you are this enamoured already.

UN make some amazing watches, but this is one that's actually practical and affordable, and too many UNs are neither!!

I've always loved this watch..... but it comes at a SERIOUS price!

Technically amazing, aesthetically disturbing (this is the nicest of the bunch), financially crippling!

I admire the mind that thought it up - twist the case to wind, use parts of the movement as hands, etc, and the engineering that created it, but I don't think I'd want one.
